    Expertly crafted with a hammered background and hand-cut textured border, our ode to Queen Esther is finished with four brilliant blue sapphires. The beautiful Jewish wife of the Persian king Xerxes I, she led the Jewish people to salvation with a storied defeat of anti-Semitism. So storied, the Book of Esther can be found in both the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament. Inspired by her infamous portrait by artist Edwin Long in 1879, note the shape of the pendant itself dates back to pieces discovered in 400 B.C. in modern day Iran where her Achaemenid empire was located.
