Spiritual Wellness: Must be the season of the witch?

Spiritual Wellness: Must be the season of the witch?

If you’re on Tiktok (hello follow us please), and you’re into the Goddesses, spiritual wellness, horoscopes, the mysteries of the universe and moon cycles like we are, you’ve probably come across some #witchtok content. If you were intrigued, by now you may have counted the freckles on your wrist to see if you were a witch in a past life, contemplated becoming a kitchen witch, searched for outfits that resembled 1977 Stevie Nicks and re-watched Practical Magic, The Craft and Hocus Pocus (1 & 2) a few times since before spooky season even started. It definitely feels like the season of the witch and we wonder if it’s because of viral trends, our fascination with Fleetwood Mac, or because women are mad AF right now and casting spells feels like the right move.

Seemingly a trending parallel right now is also this idea of stepping into your “villain era” and we cannot help but assume that it ties back to the witchy vibes we’ve been feeling. Someone (primarily women) entering their villain era actually has little to do with being a villain. A villain implies evil, It implies stealing 101 spotted puppies for a fur coat. It implies being jealous of your young motherless stepdaughter and poisoning her with an apple, yet the idea is anything but evil.

It’s the idea that women do not have to adhere to a keep sweet demeanor. Entering your villain era means setting boundaries, speaking up for yourself, expressing your rage and anger instead of swallowing it. Entering your villain era and being curious (or jumping headfirst) into the whole world of witches can run hand in hand if you look at the movement as an empowering nod to feminism, connecting to your authentic self and aligning with nature. You do not have to run out and buy tarot cards or invest in long boho maxi skirts. Whether your love of the occult runs deep or you’re just testing it all out, in order to embrace it, simply find small ways to add elements into your life and daily practice that just feel good for your spirit and make you happy.

Start first with the Goddesses — specifically Hecate, Lilith, Circe and The Morrigan.

Hecate is the ultimate Greek Goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, the moon, ghosts, necromancy. All things dark belong to Hecate. She ruled over both the living world and the underworld and is often pictured holding keys as the Goddess of boundaries between the two. Want to manifest a little chaos? Hecate is the Goddess for you. Wear the Hecate Signet ring as a reminder of your mystery or honor her power with the beautiful Inner Power Necklace set

Lilith’s name traces back to the original word for “night monster” and she’s often depicted as a dangerous demon, a serpent, a succubus, and the first vampire. Believed by some to be Adam’s first wife and created with the same clay used to create Adam, she refused to be seen as less than an equal. She refused to lie under him during sex, and for that, she left the garden. If you feel more like a Lilith than an Eve, celebrate her story with the Mini Lilith Necklace – also the perfect gift for that wild woman in your life who’s never afraid to stand up for herself.

Circe is a sorceress to be reckoned with. Famed for her ability to transform enemies and offenders into animals, she was banished to the Island of Aiaia after she murdered her husband, Prince Colchis. Circe became the queen of this solitary island and built herself a palace amongst its woods. Her island was surrounded by obedient and domesticated animals who were under her spell. Travelers and sea voyagers were often warned about Circe’s sorcery and her ability to lure people to the island. She’s a Goddess who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it. Show your love of this mysterious spellcaster with the stunning Circe Necklace

The Morrigan is the Celtic Goddess of war, and is also associated with fate, chiefly the foretelling of doom, death, or victory in battle. In this role, she is seen appearing most frequently as a crow. She is also known for encouraging warriors to be brave and fearless, helping them become victorious in battle. One way to look at the Morrigan is as a portent, but one can also draw strength from her. Inspire your own victory with The Morrigan Cuff Bracelet.

If you’re looking for pieces to add to your collection of Goddesses or for symbols that speak to your witchy/villain side, we have pieces that not only inspire the magic inside, but that also look beautiful styled for everyday or dressed up for the holidays.

Our Aura Collection is for the spiritual wellness obsessed or the Good Witch whose chakra is always aligned. The Black Onyx Ring connects you with your darker side while the White Topaz Aura Ring is linked to the crown chakra, which connects us all to powerful universal energy.

The Triple Moon Necklace inspires creativity, intuition and represents the waxing, full and waning moons. It represents divine feminine power in all of its aspects - intuition, creativity, wisdom & mystery. It also symbolizes the three life stages of a woman: Waxing Crescent Moon (the Maiden): Purity, youth, beginnings, excitement, enchantment, expansion. Full Moon (the Mother): Fulfillment, potency, compassion, giving, nurturing, protection, power. Waning Moon (the Crone): Maturity, wisdom, experience, understanding, completion, rebirth

For those looking to connect deeper with nature, the Reclaiming the Pentagram Necklace is a five pointed star representing the four elements in perfect harmony with the Spirit in many cultures. Combined with the feminine crescent symbol, it creates a balance between the earth and the heavens, intellect and imagination, to help block negativity and dark energy.
