About the Goddess
Lilith
- Strength
- Independence
- Power
History has a way of glossing over powerful women like Lilith, Adam’s first wife. Before Eve, who was created from Adam’s rib, Lilith rose from the same earth as Adam. His equal, she refused to submit to him, and for this she was cast from the Garden of Eden. She appears in the Torah, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the epic of Gilgamesh, and the Bible, often depicted as a dangerous demon, a serpent, a succubus, and the first vampire. Demonized by all accounts, Lilith walks free of shame, protecting women who dare to defy, own their sexuality and obey none but themselves.
