The Damselfly Caged Pearl Necklace pays homage to the ancient form of the damselfly, zipping through the skies with impressive gossamer wings. These caged pearls capture the iridescence of their bodies, wrapped in organic metallic shapes that mimic their flight paths. Each pearl is fully suspended in a metal cage without any stringing or adhesive — a true feat of design and engineering. Designed in collaboration with Jhené Aiko, this stunning layering necklace reaches into her personal west coast mythology and shapes an imagined future. Jhené's signature symbol, the ALLEL ("a living light, eternal love"), dangles from the adjustable length at the back.

Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

925 sterling silver free of allergenic metals like nickel and coated in rhodium for superior luster and durability. Our 925 sterling silver is always free of allergenic metals like nickel. To ensure superior luster and durability, it's coated in rhodium - a metallic element resistant to corrosion.

  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, chlorine, and household chemicals: simply wipe clean with a soft cloth after any exposure.
  • Store in the embossed velvet pouch or jewelry box that comes with your order. Keep pieces separated.
  • Wear last, remove first: put jewelry on after applying skincare and fragrance.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty

Every piece is backed by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong due to manufacturing – broken clasps, loose stones, soldering defects, or premature finish issues – we'll replace it free of charge.

Repairs for normal wear or accidental damage are assessed individually. We also offer repairs for 14k solid gold pieces.
