Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

925 sterling silver free of allergenic metals like nickel and coated in rhodium for superior luster and durability. Our 925 sterling silver is always free of allergenic metals like nickel. To ensure superior luster and durability, it's coated in rhodium - a metallic element resistant to corrosion.

Every piece is backed by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong due to manufacturing – broken clasps, loose stones, soldering defects, or premature finish issues – we'll replace it free of charge.

Repairs for normal wear or accidental damage are assessed individually. We also offer repairs for 14k solid gold pieces.

    Beautiful, but not very bendy

    This necklace is lovely. The lack of symmetry somehow adds to the appeal. The black opal side is less bendable than the onyx side, though. It cannot be wound tight enough to fit my wrist. It did also arrive with one of the opal stones broken. The different halves do not weigh the same so it has a tendency to spin on my neck. Despite all that, I absolutely love it. It layers so well with a few silver necklaces.

    Gorgeous gorgeous necklace!

    This necklace is so pretty and unique. I love the idea of onyx and black opal as a ying and yang idea! Also kudos to awe inspired for always having the best customer service! Most of my jewelry purchases in recent times are from awe inspired!
