JEWELRY AS RITUAL.
CRAFTED TO ENDURE.

A glimpse inside the materials, hands, and philosophy behind Awe.

The materials, the hands, and the philosophy behind every Awe piece. Awe Inspired is a modern house of mythology — where timeless stories become fine jewelry. What follows is exactly what goes into every piece: the precious metals, the generations of craft, and the uncompromising level of detail. It’s a story of devotion.

METAL & GEMSTONES

Nothing hollow, nothing false. Awe jewelry is crafted
from 14k gold, sterling silver, and genuine gemstones. Each stone is chosen for
what it carries as much as how it looks — clarity, intuition, protection,
sovereignty — and is ethically sourced by our trusted partners. Because each
piece is only as empowering as the story behind it.

Always an evolution. Our artists bring care, respect, and research to every design. Refinements continue until it’s truly inspiring. Because Awe is in the details.

WHERE MEANING BECOMES SOLID.

A SIMPLE RITUAL OF CARE

Spend a few moments with your Awe collection to keep it shining. This thoughtful, time-honored practice deepens your connection.

1) Awe is designed for daily wear. Minimize exposing your jewelry to chemicals, including lotions, perfumes, and soaps to preserve its longevity.

2) To clean, gently buff pieces with your Awe polishing cloth until imperfections are no longer visible.

3) Store your pieces in an Awe pouch, jewelry case, or a closed container in a cool and dry setting.

Unchanging and enduring, our solid 14k gold designs are made to transcend lifestyles and generations. A testament to your power, and our craft.

CRAFTED WITH CONSCIENCE

Awe was founded by Jill Johnson, a trained gemologist with 4+ decades of experience and three-time cancer survivor. From the beginning, Jill was determined to build Awe with intention — from selecting the Goddesses that would become the heart of Awe’s collections, to establishing ethical sourcing partners who could make something not only beautiful, but meaningful. That vision and intentionality continues to guide every decision we make.

All of our gemstone suppliers adhere to the Kimberley Process, an international certification that ensures ethical labor practices and environmental oversight at the mining level. Our manufacturing partners comply with U.S. labor standards, providing healthcare, time off, living wages, and safe, comfortable working conditions. Many also utilize water recycling systems to significantly reduce environmental impact.

Our packaging is made from 90% recycled materials, and we are continually working to minimize single-use plastics across our operations. And because Awe handles design, production, fulfillment, and customer care in-house, we’re able to produce our collections consciously, in small batches.

The result is a collection of mindfully designed, meticulously crafted pieces you can be proud of.

We know we are.

FAQ

What is gold vermeil, and how is it different from gold-plated jewelry?

Gold vermeil originated in 18th-century France and consists of a thick layer of 14k gold bonded over sterling silver. Awe’s vermeil uses 40% more gold than industry standards for a lasting, hypoallergenic finish. Unlike thin gold-plated jewelry, true vermeil is designed to endure daily wear with proper care.

Will Awe Inspired jewelry tarnish or turn my skin green?

No. Our jewelry is made only with precious metals like sterling silver and 14k gold vermeil. We never use cheap base metals that can flake, tarnish, or discolor your skin. Our pieces are hypoallergenic and made to last.

Why is Awe jewelry more expensive than other brands I see online?

We use higher quality materials and traditional craftsmanship to create jewelry that holds lasting value. That includes solid sterling silver, thick 14k gold vermeil, and natural gemstones. Each piece is designed in-house and carefully made by skilled artisans. You are not just paying for the look, you are investing in real craftsmanship and ethically sourced materials.

Where is your jewelry made?

Our designs begin in Los Angeles and are brought to life by expert jewelers in Thailand, Italy, and the United States. These partners are long-time collaborators who specialize in fine jewelry and share our commitment to quality and responsible production.

Are AweInspired’s materials ethically sourced?

Yes. All gemstone suppliers adhere to the
Kimberley Process, an international certification ensuring ethical labor practices and environmental oversight at the mining level. Manufacturing partners comply with U.S. labor standards, and many use water-recycling systems. Packaging is made from 90% recycled materials, with ongoing work to reduce single-use plastics.

Are your gemstones real?

Yes. We use only genuine natural gemstones. You will never find glass, resin, or synthetic stones in our pieces. Each stone is chosen for its natural beauty and symbolic significance.

How do I care for my Awe jewelry?

To protect your jewelry, avoid contact with perfume, lotion, and water whenever possible, exactly like you would with solid gold pieces. Gently polish with the cleaning cloth included free in your order, and store in a dry, cool place. With the right care, your pieces will last for many years.

Can I wear it every day?

Yes. Our jewelry is designed for everyday wear. 14k gold vermeil and sterling silver are durable, but like all fine jewelry, they do best with a little care and attention.
