Ishtar ventured to the Underworld to learn its secrets, passing through the inner chambers of death before being reborn when her husband's life was traded for her own. Her journey became the archetype for all stories of descent that followed, but she ventured into the darkness not for love, but for wisdom. Her complexity is depicted in silver and gold: naked at the moment of her ascent back from the depths, flanked by her lions, a symbol of regal dominion, and owls, her guardians of the night. Wear her as a reminder to seek knowledge for knowledge's sake, hold complete authority over your own life, and never fear the dark, even when it changes you.

Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

925 Sterling Silver

925 sterling silver free of allergenic metals like nickel and coated in rhodium for superior luster and durability. Our 925 sterling silver is always free of allergenic metals like nickel. To ensure superior luster and durability, it's coated in rhodium - a metallic element resistant to corrosion.

Care Tips
  • Gently polish with the complimentary Awe microfiber cloth included in every order to maintain luster.
  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, chlorine, and household chemicals: simply wipe clean with a soft cloth after any exposure.
  • Store in the embossed velvet pouch or jewelry box that comes with your order. Keep pieces separated.
  • Wear last, remove first: put jewelry on after applying skincare and fragrance.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty

Every piece is backed by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong due to manufacturing – broken clasps, loose stones, soldering defects, or premature finish issues – we'll replace it free of charge.

Repairs for normal wear or accidental damage are assessed individually. We also offer repairs for 14k solid gold pieces.
