Mary Magdalene Pendant

Medusa was a Gorgon with long wings and venomous snakes in place of hair. Gazers upon her face would turn to stone, making her both feared and unstoppable. Her head was cut off and gifted as a wedding present, then placed on Zeus’ shield to protect him. Hence her face being immortalized on shields and breastplates throughout antiquity as a totem to ward off evil. Now, she has emerged as a symbol of feminism and female strength and fierceness.

14K Gold Vermeil

Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

925 sterling silver free of allergenic metals like nickel and coated in rhodium for superior luster and durability. Our 925 sterling silver is always free of allergenic metals like nickel. To ensure superior luster and durability, it's coated in rhodium - a metallic element resistant to corrosion.

Two toned describes a piece or set with mixed metals: Awe quality 14k yellow gold vermeil and solid 925 sterling silver.

  • Wear last, remove first: put jewelry on after applying skincare and fragrance.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty

Every piece is backed by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong due to manufacturing – broken clasps, loose stones, soldering defects, or premature finish issues – we'll replace it free of charge.

Repairs for normal wear or accidental damage are assessed individually. We also offer repairs for 14k solid gold pieces.

    Stunning necklace!

    I bought this in gold vermeil and it’s absolutely beautiful. It’s the perfect size and the detail is so gorgeous. I was expecting the face of the pendant to be a lot shinier than it is but it’s more matte and smooth looking. Still beautiful just different than expected from the photos.

    The quality is stunning, I was lucky enough to be able to message Awe even though she was sold out, and found out they had a couple extra gold vermeil MM pendents left :) I ordered it Monday night and it came Thursday. Super fast shipping

    Mary Magdalene

    Beautiful however the piece is very heavy and the chain very delicate. I would have gotten a stronger chain link had I realized how heavy it is. Also, the medallion is unable to be placed on a thicker chain I own. But the piece itself is beautiful

    Gorgeous

    This was something of an impulse buy for me because I hadn't originally put her on my wishlist but something was pulling me towards her so I went for it and I don't regret it for a minute. This is beautifully made and packaged, and I'm obsessed with the way the roses spill over the edge of the pendant. Love love love.
