What's Vermeil vs. Solid 14k?
Gold Vermeil
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of 14k gold bonded to a base of solid sterling silver. Unlike gold-plated jewelry, which uses a thin layer of gold over brass or steel, vermeil has the weight, richness, and durability of fine jewelry. It looks and feels like solid gold and holds up beautifully over time with proper care.
Awe Inspired goes above and beyond the standard: by definition, vermeil jewelry must be coated with 2 microns of gold (anything less is "gold plated"). At Awe, they coat all of their Goddess pieces with an extra 3rd micron of 14k yellow gold to provide superior durability.
They also use a special process: Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, they coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of their signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers.

What shipping options are available?
We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders of $150+. Goddess Circle members enjoy free shipping on every order. Domestic orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days from the date shipped. Two-day and overnight shipping options are available at checkout.
If you need your order by a specific date, please submit a request after placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We partner with Global-e to provide a seamless international shopping experience.
Certain products may be restricted from export. If an item cannot ship to your location, you will see a “Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address” notification at checkout. Submit a request for further assistance.
Are duties and taxes included at checkout?
Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, shipment destination, and the value of the purchase. If duties and taxes are charged at checkout, they will appear as a separate line item if they are not already included in the product price. Some countries require duties and taxes to be paid upon delivery and they will be the customer’s responsibility. It will be noted at checkout for full transparency before you order.

Do I need to sign for my 14k solid gold order?
Yes. To ensure your order arrives safely, all solid gold pieces are shipped with full-value insurance and require a signature upon delivery.
My order is missing, lost or stolen? What can I do?
Please wait 2 business days after your order is marked delivered, as packages do sometimes arrive within this window.

If you did not purchase order protection, Awe Inspired is not responsible for lost, missing or stolen packages. Please ensure you are providing a reliable and accurate delivery address at checkout.
What is your return policy?
We offer free returns within 2 weeks of delivery. You can get a full refund or a free exchange — no questions asked. Submit your request and receive a pre-paid return label HERE.
Items must be returned in new, unworn condition with all original Awe Inspired packaging included. If your jewelry arrived with a clear security sticker, it must remain in its original position and untampered. Returns with removed, altered, or damaged security stickers will be denied. Items that do not meet these conditions will not be refunded and will be returned to the customer.
Special order items and items marked "final sale" are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
All returned items are inspected before processing. Please allow 3–5 business days after receipt for your return to be reviewed and processed. Once processed, please allow 1-2 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement, depending on your financial institution. Refunds are issued only if the item meets the above return criteria.
Canadian customers are eligible to receive a full refund of duties and taxes on returned orders.
Exchanges may be made for another item currently available on our site. If the selected item is unavailable at the time of processing, we will contact you regarding alternative options or store credit.
Care & Warranty
How do I care for my Awe jewelry?
To protect your jewelry, avoid contact with perfume, lotion, and water whenever possible, exactly like you would with solid gold pieces. Gently polish with the cleaning cloth included free in your order, and store in a dry, cool place. With the right care, your pieces will last for many years.
Can I wear it every day?
Yes. Our jewelry is designed for everyday wear. 14k gold vermeil and sterling silver are durable, but like all fine jewelry, they do best with a little care and attention.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes. Every piece comes with our lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong due to manufacturing, we'll replace it for free. Submit your warranty claim HERE.
We offer repairs for 14k solid gold pieces. If you need a repair, please submit a request for further assistance.
