Privacy policy
Effective Date: July 7, 2026
How we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Awe Inspired, Inc. ("Awe Inspired," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit aweinspired.com, shop with us, contact our customer care team, or interact with our emails, texts, ads, and social media. It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them. By using our site and services, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
This may include your name and contact details (email, postal address, phone number); account login and password; order and payment information (full payment-card numbers are processed by our payment providers — including Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, and Afterpay — and are not stored by us); purchase and transaction history; customer-care, returns, and warranty history; marketing preferences; and any content you submit, such as reviews, photos, or messages.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit our site or open our emails, we and our providers collect certain information using cookies, pixels, web beacons, and server logs — including IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language and referral data, pages and products viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from service providers, advertising and analytics partners, social media platforms, and shipping or fraud-prevention vendors, which we may combine with information we already hold about you.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Process and fulfill your orders, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims;
- Create and manage your account and the Goddess Circle membership;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Send marketing and transactional communications where permitted (you can opt out at any time);
- Personalize your experience and our advertising;
- Operate, analyze, secure, and improve our business and services;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
Cookies, analytics & advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. Our providers include Google Analytics 4, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, Google Ads, and Klaviyo (email and SMS). These partners may set their own cookies and use the data they collect under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie-preferences tool, and you can opt out of advertising-related "sharing" as described below. Where required by law, we obtain your consent before using non-essential cookies.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers who perform services on our behalf (payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, returns/warranty processing, hosting, analytics, email/SMS, and customer support), bound to use it only for those services;
- Advertising partners for measurement and targeted advertising. Under California law this activity may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising — you may opt out (see below);
- Legal and safety purposes, where required by law or legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property; and
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Your choices
- Marketing email: unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email.
- SMS: reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
- Cookies & ads: adjust your browser settings, use our cookie-preferences tool, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer, or enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser (which we honor as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing).
- Account info: review and update your details in your account, or contact us.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising); and
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
To exercise these rights, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer or email privacy@aweinspired.com. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We verify your request by matching the information you provide against our records (for example, information associated with your account or a recent order), and we respond within 45 days as the CCPA permits (extendable once as allowed by law); in practice we aim to respond within 30 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. California's "Shine the Light" law also lets California residents request information about disclosures to third parties for direct marketing.
Your rights in the EEA & UK (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. We process your data on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation, as applicable.
To make a request, email privacy@aweinspired.com; we will confirm and respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. (EU/EEA customers: a 14-day Right of Withdrawal applies to purchases — see our Terms of Use and Customer Care page.)
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
How we protect your information
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Our site and products are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites and services that operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above and, for material changes, provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
