Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

925 Sterling Silver

925 sterling silver free of allergenic metals like nickel and coated in rhodium for superior luster and durability. Our 925 sterling silver is always free of allergenic metals like nickel. To ensure superior luster and durability, it's coated in rhodium - a metallic element resistant to corrosion.

2 Toned or Mixed Metals

Two toned describes a piece or set with mixed metals: Awe quality 14k yellow gold vermeil and solid 925 sterling silver.

  • Wear last, remove first: put jewelry on after applying skincare and fragrance.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty

Every piece is backed by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong due to manufacturing – broken clasps, loose stones, soldering defects, or premature finish issues – we'll replace it free of charge.

Repairs for normal wear or accidental damage are assessed individually. We also offer repairs for 14k solid gold pieces.

    Bummed that the charms do NOT fit :(

    I purchased this necklace in addition to the raven and labradorite charm and the rutilated quartz charm, only to find out that they don't actually fit on this cord necklace. The metal points are too wide for the charms to fit on, which is very misleading, considering there is a charm advertised/shown online. Unless I am missing something, this was very disappointing. I even waited months for the necklace to arrive. At least the quality is nice.

    I'm obsessed.

    The black cord with silver points was on backorder when I purchased it, but it was worth the wait. (Awe really outdid themselves with the packaging, too—the box is stunning.) It's a unique take on the cord necklace trend, and I love its versatility: it looks great with or without charms, and it's long enough to wrap a couple of times for a choker length, or with a single knot for a longer and more dramatic look that works well for layering. You do have to be a bit gentle with it to keep the strands from separating, but I'm a fan of the organic look that comes from the twists' not being 100% even—witchy, wild, and subtly Western gothic.
