Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

925 sterling silver free of allergenic metals like nickel and coated in rhodium for superior luster and durability. Our 925 sterling silver is always free of allergenic metals like nickel. To ensure superior luster and durability, it's coated in rhodium - a metallic element resistant to corrosion.

    Fun bug ring

    Bug and snake jewelry is definitely a favorite of mine -- and labradorite is my favorite stone (moonstone is a close 2nd). I love this beetle. It reminds me of ancient Egypt which is my favorite ancient civilization. I'm working on mixing more gold and silver and this ring in gold is gorgeous.

    Does this look like a $280 ring? No. I do agree with another review that it doesn't look as expensive as it's priced. Since I got +60% off, I do feel like this ring is worth that amount.

    You just have to decide which way to “wear her” or she might bite you a little bit. I recommend taking off when washing/drying your hands. I’ve had tons of compliments.
