14K Gold Vermeil

Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

925 sterling silver free of allergenic metals like nickel and coated in rhodium for superior luster and durability. Our 925 sterling silver is always free of allergenic metals like nickel. To ensure superior luster and durability, it's coated in rhodium - a metallic element resistant to corrosion.

2 Toned or Mixed Metals

Two toned describes a piece or set with mixed metals: Awe quality 14k yellow gold vermeil and solid 925 sterling silver.

Care Tips
  • Gently polish with the complimentary Awe microfiber cloth included in every order to maintain luster.
  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, chlorine, and household chemicals: simply wipe clean with a soft cloth after any exposure.
  • Store in the embossed velvet pouch or jewelry box that comes with your order. Keep pieces separated.
  • Wear last, remove first: put jewelry on after applying skincare and fragrance.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty

Every piece is backed by our lifetime craftsmanship warranty. If anything goes wrong due to manufacturing – broken clasps, loose stones, soldering defects, or premature finish issues – we'll replace it free of charge.

Repairs for normal wear or accidental damage are assessed individually. We also offer repairs for 14k solid gold pieces.

    Persephone and Duality

    The Persephone pendant is not only beautifully made - it reminds me that duality is part of human nature. People contain multitudes, and Persephone’s life modeled this. She brought spring and growth and beauty to the earth and lived her life above ground as a loving daughter: in the colder months she returned to the Underworld and Hades, fulfilling her role as his co-regent. She embraced the differences within herself, and made peace with being both/and, and not either/or.

    Love this piece!

    I love this piece. Persephone perfectly embodies my energy, my business brand and the core codes of my business. As always, the quality is great. I've had many AWE pieces over the years and they all still look brand new. I just wish the chain was longer on this or even better, have adjustable links so I can vary the length based on the neckline of my shirt. In this photo, it's paired with the AWE angel number 111, which I love as well.
