Privacy policy
Effective Date: October 22, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Awe Inspired, Inc. (“Awe Inspired,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit aweinspired.com, shop with us, contact our customer care team, or interact with our emails, texts, ads, and social media. It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them. By using our site and services, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
This may include your name and contact details (email, postal address, phone number); account login and password; order and payment information (full payment-card numbers are processed by our payment providers — including Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, and Afterpay — and are not stored by us); purchase and transaction history; customer-care, returns, and warranty history; marketing preferences; and any content you submit, such as reviews, photos, or messages.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit our site or open our emails, we and our providers collect certain information using cookies, pixels, web beacons, and server logs — including IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language and referral data, pages and products viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. See the “Cookies, tracking technologies, analytics & advertising” section.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from service providers, advertising and analytics partners, social media platforms, and shipping or fraud-prevention vendors, which we may combine with information we already hold about you.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
-
Process and fulfill your orders, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims;
-
Create and manage your account and the Goddess Circle membership;
-
Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
-
Send marketing and transactional communications where permitted (you can opt out at any time);
-
Personalize your experience and our advertising;
-
Operate, analyze, secure, and improve our business and services;
-
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
-
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
Cookies, tracking technologies, analytics & advertising
Our site uses cookies and other tracking technologies — including pixels, tags, web beacons, software development kits (SDKs), local storage, and server logs — for site functionality, analytics, personalization, and advertising. Some of these are operated by us, and some are operated by third-party analytics and advertising partners who set their own cookies/identifiers and process the data under their own privacy policies. The specific technologies and partners we currently use include:
-
Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads) — analytics, conversion measurement, and advertising/remarketing;
-
Meta / Facebook & Instagram (the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, which sends certain event data server-side) — advertising, retargeting, and conversion measurement;
-
Klaviyo (onsite tracking and email sign-up forms) — email marketing, onsite behavior, and measurement;
-
Attentive — SMS marketing sign-up and messaging; and
-
Other similar technologies we may add from time to time — the current list and categories are available through our cookie-preferences tool.
Through these technologies, we and these partners may collect and share information such as your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type and identifiers, operating system, cookie and session identifiers, the pages and products you view, the referring page or source, links and buttons you click, and the dates and times of your activity. For advertising and analytics partners such as Meta and Google, this disclosure of identifiers and online-activity information is treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (and may be considered a “sale”) under California law.
These non-essential tracking technologies operate by default when you use the site. You can opt out at any time — through our cookie-preferences tool, the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer, the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal (which we honor as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing), or your browser settings — and you can opt out with the partners directly (for example, Meta and Google ad settings). Opting out does not disable essential cookies needed for the site to function. See the “Your choices” and “Your California privacy rights” sections for your choices and rights. Where the law requires prior consent for non-essential cookies, we obtain it.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We share personal information only as described here:
-
Service providers who perform services on our behalf (payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, returns/warranty processing, hosting, analytics, email/SMS, and customer support), bound to use it only for those services;
-
Advertising & analytics partners — specifically Meta, Google, Klaviyo, and Attentive (see the “Cookies, tracking technologies, analytics & advertising” section) — with whom we share identifiers (such as IP address, device/browser and cookie/session identifiers) and online-activity information (such as pages and products viewed) for measurement and targeted advertising. Under California law this activity is treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (and may be considered a “sale”) — you may opt out (see the “Your choices” and “Your California privacy rights” sections);
-
Legal and safety purposes, where required by law or legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property; and
-
Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
-
Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
-
Correct inaccurate personal information;
-
Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
-
Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising); and
-
Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
To exercise these rights, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer or email privacy@aweinspired.com. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We verify your request by matching the information you provide against our records (for example, information associated with your account or a recent order), and we respond within 45 days as the CCPA permits (extendable once as allowed by law); in practice we aim to respond within 30 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. California’s “Shine the Light” law also lets California residents request information about disclosures to third parties for direct marketing.
Your rights in the EEA & UK (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. We process your data on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation, as applicable.
To make a request, email privacy@aweinspired.com; we will confirm and respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. (EU/EEA customers: a 14-day Right of Withdrawal applies to purchases — see our Terms of Use and Customer Care page.)
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
How we protect your information
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our site and products are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites and services that operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and, for material changes, provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
