Elliott Sailors has a simple yet imperative slogan: #BeYouBeTrue. Elliott encourages her thousands of followers to embrace their true identity and demands that the brands and media that shape our perception of the world promote diversity and inclusion. An outspoken LGBTQ+ rights activist, Elliott is taking conversations surrounding gender politics to the highest echelons of the fashion industry. We are proud to support her #BeYouBeTrue movement and honored to have her wearing our Unity Band as she takes on the world.

FEMININITY AND MASCULINITY
In doing this shoot with Talulah Lamaison I had to tell them, I have no idea what femininity means! I find femininity vs masculinity confusing in many ways as there have been such huge changes to their definitions throughout our past. Recently I appreciate when others recognize the part of me that wants to sometimes wear dresses or heels or make up, although all of these have historically been equally worn by men. Too often society expects us to choose feminine or masculine and once it seems we've chosen, we're then expected to stick with that choice. I choose both. #BeYouBeTrue
WHAT IS PRIDE TO YOU?
Pride is choosing to be exactly who you know yourself to be. Pride month is the beautiful opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community to come together in celebrating humanity and our place in the world. Pride allows us to honor and celebrate our sexuality and gender, without allowing the opinions or judgements of others to impede on our sense of self worth. I am Queer and I am PROUD.
