Cleopatra, queen of Egypt, is believed to have died on August 10 or 12, 30 BC, in Alexandria, taking her own life via asp bite or the use of a poisonous ointment. She was approximately 39 years old. Her historic reign and mysterious death cemented her mythical status, and she remains one of the most popular historical figures of all time.

Our Cleopatra Goddess Collection features a pendant necklace in gold vermeil and sterling silver, a signet ring, gemstone stud earrings, small hoop earrings, and a delicate bracelet in sterling silver. Just as many people today love to wear their zodiac pendants or an initial of their first name, so would Cleopatra want to pay homage to her iconic self by wearing her own Goddess pendant piece.

But how would she style it?

Here are some pieces we think the ultimate queen of history would choose from our stunning repertoire of jewelry. For starters, she would make sure she had the Eye of Horus Stud Earring with a genuine green peridot in her ears to ward off all those who wished to do her harm. In an ironic twist, she might even put on the gold vermeil Snake Ring adorned with two glittering emeralds as a little nod to the rumors about her manner of death.

She would also absolutely add the Red Aura Necklace to her collection to align all five senses and help her live a life of passion. Furthermore, there is no doubt she’d want to get her hands on the “I Am Woman Hear Me Roar” Affirmation Necklace to remind everyone of her unbridled feminine power.

Thanks to her passionate affair with Mark Antony, Cleopatra might find herself gravitating toward this intimate and sensual “The Lovers” Tablet Necklace as a testament to their love. And since she was the only Ptolemaic ruler to learn the Egyptian language, she’d probably also embrace Egyptian Goddess Isis, the mother of all Goddesses and a model for the divine feminine.

Whether Cleopatra would view Nefertiti as competition or inspiration is hard to say, but she might still want to wear our striking Nefertiti Pendant for its sheer beauty alone. If she happens to be a stacking type of woman, she’d also love our Evil Eye Ring and Woman Power Ring to offer her protection and strength, respectively.

Lastly, we cannot forget our eye-catching Sphinx Necklace, inspired by the Great Sphinx of Giza in Egypt (one of the most recognizable statues in the world) and the myth of the sphinx and her riddle in Greek mythology. Cleopatra would definitely wear it as her own private guardian.
