Awe Vermeil has been perfected for superior durability with an innovative oxygen bathing technique that improves gold adherence 3x over standard electroplating. In this process, we coat a 925 sterling silver base with 3 full microns of our signature 14k yellow gold and place the piece in a 100% pure oxygen chamber to remove any moisture and prevent tarnishing between layers. The 2 microns used by other vermeil jewelers is not enough for our standards.

    I love this piece.

    The compass has always been an important talisman for me. I really love this locket. The only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect is if there was a real working compass inside. Even so, I still adore it.
