    The duality of Persephone is what draws us to her spirit. Goddess of Springtime and Queen of the Underworld, she is in a constant state of awakening from one enigmatic force to the next within the changing of the seasons.

    When Persephone ate the pomegranate seeds during her visit to the Underworld, she sealed her fate. However, she was able to negotiate staying with Hades for only six months of the year and returning to the living world the other half of the year.
